Dwaine VanMeenen- Village Administrator Hired My wife and I have lived in Cambridge for 41 years. We have had three daughters graduate from Cambridge High School and have been blessed with ten grandchildren. I am a graduate of Geneseo High School and the Moline Institute of Commerce. I have served on the Village Board and served as the Village President. I have also served on the Cambridge School Board, Cambridge Academic Foundation and St John Vianney Church Board. I am currently a member of the Cambridge Rotary Club, American Legion and the Henry County Economic Development Partnership. I was hired in November, 2008 after retiring with Bomag Inc., after 40 years. I enjoy woodworking and spending time with my family, and I am a big Illini fan and Chicago White Sox. In the past few years, I have enjoyed being a part of developing new residential and commercial developments and look forward to bringing more growth to our community.
Ed Dole- Public Works Director Hired I have been a resident of Cambridge since 1962. I graduated from Cambridge High School in 1980. I started as a co-op student my senior year for the village; then became full-time for water and sewer department on July 01, 1980. In 1992, I became water and sewer superintendent; and then in 1993 became public works director. In 1991, I married Lori Young and we currently have "Fur Children" which include three Boston Terriers and four cats.
Paula Pool- Village Clerk Appointed My husband, David and I have lived in Cambridge since 1994. We have three children who all graduated from Cambridge High School. As a stay at home mom, I was actively involved in the Cambridge Parents' Club, Mapping the Future of our Community, and was on the founding board of Cambridge Main Street. I was hired by the Village of Cambridge as Deputy Village Clerk in October 2002, and then appointed as Village Clerk in January 2008. I always tell people it's a fancy title for a bookkeeper. I enjoy the variety of what each day brings and generally enjoy most aspects of my job, especially helping the public with problems that arise.
Danielle Ekin-Administrative Assistant Hired I have been employed with the Village since July 2007. My job varies daily with assisting the village president, citizens, public works department, trustees, but not limited too. I have lived in Cambridge for 11 years.
