My wife and I have lived in Cambridge for 41 years.  We have had three daughters graduate from Cambridge High School and have been blessed with ten grandchildren.  I am a graduate of Geneseo High School and the Moline Institute of Commerce.  I have served on the Village Board and served as the Village President.  I have also served on the Cambridge School Board, Cambridge Academic Foundation and St John Vianney Church Board.  I am currently a member of the Cambridge Rotary Club, American Legion and the Henry County Economic Development Partnership.  I was hired in November, 2008 after retiring with Bomag Inc., after 40 years.  I enjoy woodworking and spending time with my family, and I am a big Illini fan and Chicago White Sox.  In the past few years, I have enjoyed being a part of developing new residential and commercial developments and look forward to bringing more growth to our community.

Paula Pool- Village Clerk

 Appointed

My husband, David and I have lived in Cambridge since 1994.  We have three children who all graduated from Cambridge High School.  As a stay at home mom, I was actively involved in the Cambridge Parents' Club, Mapping the Future of our Community, and was on the founding board of Cambridge Main Street.  I was hired by the Village of Cambridge as Deputy Village Clerk in October 2002, and then appointed as Village Clerk in January 2008.  I always tell people it's a fancy title for a bookkeeper.  I enjoy the variety of what each day brings and generally enjoy most aspects of my job, especially helping the public with problems that arise.
